This past Saturday, Scope Global School was buzzing with excitement as we hosted the much-anticipated inter-school competition—Global Geek 2k24. Over a hundred students from various schools joined us for a day filled with creativity, quick thinking, and environmental consciousness, competing in four distinct categories: Crayola, Poster Making, Just a Minute (JAM), and Best Out Of Waste.
In the Crayola category, young artists let their imaginations run wild, producing beautiful and thought-provoking drawings. The vibrant colors and intricate details in their artwork showcased the passion and creativity these students brought to the competition.
The winners in the Crayola category were:
3-6 years: 1st place - Shanvik M (Scope Global School), 2nd place - Bavishkka RS (Scope Global School), 3rd place - Lithika Banu (Scope Nursery & Primary School)
6-8 years: 1st place - A Nikhilesh Prabhu (Shriram Vidya Mandir School), 2nd place - K. Aradhana (Scope Global School), 3rd place (tie) - Yazhini K (Scope Global School) and Thanya Fathima J (Scope Global School)
The Poster Making competition allowed students to channel their artistic talents into creating visually striking and impactful posters. The level of skill and thoughtfulness displayed was truly inspiring, reflecting the participants' ability to convey powerful messages through art.
The winners in the Poster Making category were:
7-10 years: 1st place - Vidhu Deekshi A (Scope Global School), 2nd place - Mithun Kumar (Scope Global School), 3rd place - Satvika S (Sri Chaitanya)
10-14 years: 1st place - Rajasree Kolisetty (Scope Global School), 2nd place - Marliya J (Scope Global School), 3rd place - Ratchana B (Scope Global School)
The Just a Minute (JAM) session was a thrilling showcase of quick thinking and improvisation. Participants were given just one minute to speak on a surprise topic, and their ability to think on their feet and articulate their thoughts left both judges and the audience in awe.
The winners in the JAM category were:
7-10 years: 1st place - Kavin Krishna (Scope Global School), 2nd place - Aadhvik R. Vincent (Scope Global School)
10-14 years: 1st place - Veerneshwar M (Scope Global School), 2nd place - Akshara R (Scope Global School), 3rd place - Siddharth (Chinmaya School)
In the Best Out Of Waste category, students showcased their innovative spirit by creating impressive solutions for recycling everyday materials. Their projects highlighted the importance of sustainability and demonstrated remarkable creativity.
The winners in the Best Out of Waste category were:
7-10 years: 1st place - Dhev Dharshan (Scope Global School), 2nd place - Dhiyaa J (Scope Global School), 3rd place (tie) - Sanjesh (Scope Global School) and Sashwathi (Chinmaya School)
10-14 years: 1st place - Ratchana (Scope Global School), 2nd place - Ratchitha, 3rd place - Marliya J (Scope Global School)
The success of Global Geek 2k24 was made possible by the unwavering dedication of our teachers. Their efforts in organizing and guiding the participants ensured a smooth and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
